How does Timeero calculate Mileage?

The Timeero app calculates mileage accurately only when using the mobile apps downloaded from the AppStore and PlayStore.

Anytime a user moves more than 150 feet, a GPS point is captured. However, not all points captured are included in mileage traveled.

What is included in mileage traveled?

Any travel speed that exceeds 4.47 miles per hour is included in the mileage traveled calculation.

Does this mean that walking is not included in the mileage calculations?

Hence, every point shown on the map is not included in the total mileage traveled.
