Viventium Settings

What Happens When I Enable Company Codes?

The Enable Company Code setting controls whether payroll exports will use either Cost Centers or Job Codes in Viventium to map to jobs in Timeero. 

  • You can only select one option at a time:

    • Either Cost Centers Or Job Codes

*You must Enable Company Codes to export mileage to Viventium.

 

How Can I Set up Cost Centers?

  1. On the Configuration page of the Viventium Integration in Timeero, select Enable Company Code under the Settings
  2. Select Use Cost Centers
  3. Click Save at the bottom of the page. 
  4. Go to Configure Mappings.
  5. Navigate to Cost Centers.
  6. Map each Timeero job to the appropriate Viventium Cost Center.

The selected Cost Center codes will appear in the exported payroll data in Viventium.

 

How Can I Set up Job Codes?

  1. On the Configuration page of the Viventium Integration in Timeero, select Enable Company Code under the Settings.
  2. Select Use Job Codes.
  3. Click Save at the bottom of the page. 
  4. Go to Configure Mappings.
  5. Navigate to Job Codes.
  6. Map each Timeero job to the appropriate Viventium Job Code.

The selected Job Codes will appear in the exported payroll data in Viventium.

 

How Do I Separate PTO Hours from Regular Hours?

Export PTO separately instead of including it with regular hours.

  1. Select Separate PTO Hours on the Configuration page of the integration. 
  2. PTO will appear down below. Select the appropriate code to map from the drop down. 
  3. Click Save at the bottom of the page. 
  4. Once exported, PTO hours will appear in Viventium Payroll under the mapped PTO code.

 

What happens when you Separate Holiday Hours?

Holiday hours will no longer be included with regular payroll hours. Instead, Holiday hours will be exported separately and will appear under the Holiday code configured in the Viventium integration settings. 

  1. Select Separate PTO Hours on the Configuration page of the integration.
  2. PTO will appear down below. Select the appropriate code to map from the drop down.
  3. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

 

What Does Allowing Custom Hours do?

Allow Custom Hours lets admins add additional payroll hours for employees without creating a timesheet entry. Admins can choose to export hours or a dollar amount. 

This can be used for items such as:

  • Training hours.
  • Bonuses.
  • Other payroll adjustments.

To Enable this feature:

  1. On the Configuration page, select Allow Custom Hours.
  2. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

 

How Can I Push Time-Off Requests in Timeero to Viventium?

Automatically send approved time-off requests from Timeero to Viventium. 

  1. Select Push Time-Off Requests on the Configuration page of the integration.
  2. Click Save at the bottom of the page. 
  3. Go to Configure Mappings
  4. Select PTO Accruals
  5. Map the Timeero Time off Categories to the corresponding PTO Accrual Codes. 
  6. Approve time-off requests in Timeero to send them to Viventium. 

*Users need to be assigned to the same PTO in Viventium and Timeero for it to send.

*Withdraw requests or changes made in Timeero after approvals will not reflect in Viventium.
