[Kiosk App](https://help.timeero.com/timesheets-mileage-location-tracking?hsLang=en#kiosk-app) # How to Clock in and out Through the Kiosk App ### Learn How: - Once your kiosk stations are set-up, your employees will be able to use them to clock in. - If you have not yet set-up your kiosk stations, please refer to our article on [How to Set up and Register your Kiosk](https://help.timeero.com/terminal-kiosk-app?hsLang=en) to do so. \*The Timeero Kiosk app currently is only compatible with iPad devices.     ### How do I Clock in Through the Kiosk App? 1. You will see the list of all users. To start time, simply find & select your name from                           the list.         3. After entering your code, you will be able to start your time. \*Depending on your company's settings, you may be required to select a job to clock in. Once a user clocks in, the home page will re-appear, and the next user will need to tap Proceed to continue.   ### How Do I Take Breaks and Add Notes on the Kiosk App? - If you need to take a break or add notes during your shift, you can enter your pin to see your current timesheet. - You will see the current timesheet's duration counter and the option to add **Notes** or **Start Break**. - When you are ready to end your break, you can enter your code again and select **End Break.** ![kiosk-notes](https://help.timeero.com/hs-fs/hubfs/kiosk-notes.png?width=379&height=478&name=kiosk-notes.png) ### FAQs ##### What happens if someone tries to clock out for someone else? Does facial recognition work when stopping time as well as starting time? Yes, facial recognition works for both. If a mismatch is detected, the system will send an email alert. ##### What happens if a employee clocks in from the kiosk without an internet connection? Will it still work? Yes, users can start time offline. The data will sync to the web portal once the device reconnects to the internet. ##### What if I need to log into the kiosk app as a different admin or manager? Currently, there's no log-out option for the kiosk app. To switch users, you’ll need to delete and reinstall the app on the iPad. ##### Does the kiosk app track my location? No, the kiosk is meant for stationary employees.
