To facilitate your scheduling setup, you can add schedules in bulk by importing them on a CSV file.
If you need to import multiple shifts all at once, you can use our formatted CSV template to copy your schedule information into and then upload it to your Timeero account.
- On the Scheduling page of the web portal click the Import Schedule button in the top-right.
- Download the template and open it in a spreadsheet editor.
- When adding information, it is easiest if you do not reformat or rename the columns.
- Once you have finished filling out what you need, go back to the web portal and click the Upload CSV button.
- Match your CSV columns with the correlating fields in Timeero. You can click the Map Common Fields button to match columns that the exact same name, otherwise pick the corresponding column label from the drop down menu.
6. Click Start Import
Fields marked with an * symbol are required fields.
Formatting Tips and Explanations
When filling out the data in your spreadsheet template, please note certain fields are case-sensitive or may only accept specific input.
Employees - Enter the email of the employee(s) who should be assigned to this shift, separated by commas
Job Name - Enter the name of the job exactly as it is saved in your account. Only one job can be assigned to each shift
Start Date & End Date - Enter the date, and time (if applicable) in "MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss" format
Repeat Type - Accepted input:
daily
weekly
monthly
bi-weekly
tri-weekly
quad-weekly
Repeat Day Of Week - Enter whichever day(s) of the week this should be repeated. Not applicable if Repeat Type is daily or monthly. If multiple days, separate by commas
Repeat End Date - Enter the day the shift should stop repeating in the "MM/DD/YYYY" format
Shift Color - Accepted input:

- Select CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited) (.csv) from the drop-down menu
- Click Save
Depending on how many schedules you are uploading at once, it may take awhile for them to populate on the calendar.
