On the Web Portal: 1. Go to the **Messaging** tab on the Web Portal. 2. Select a chat from the left hand side or search for a specific user. 3. Type your message in the chat box. 4. Hit the arrow to send your message. On the Mobile App: 1. Go to the **Messages** tab on the bottom of your app. 2. Select a chat or search for a specific user using the search bar at the top of the page. 3. Type your message in the chat box. 4. Hit the arrow to send your message. ### How Do I Create a New Chat? On the Web Portal: 1. Go to the **Messaging** **tab** on the Web Portal. 2. Go to the **Messages** tab on the bottom of your app. 2. Select the **pencil icon** at the top of the page. 3. Select a user. 4. Hit **Create** at the top of the page. ### How Can I Create a Group Message? On the Web Portal: 1. Select the Chat + icon at the top of the page. 2. Select **Create Group**. 3. Enter a Group Name. 4. Select all users you want to add to the group. 5. Select **Create Group** at the bottom of the page.   On the Mobile App: 1. Go to the **Messages** tab on the bottom of your app. 2. Select the **pencil icon** at the top of the page. 3. Enter a Group Name at the top of the page (this is optional). 4. Select all of the users you want to be in your group. 5. Hit **Create** at the top of the page.   ### FAQs ##### Can managers send messages to users outside their group? No. Managers can only send messages to users assigned to the same group as them.
