For precise location and/or mileage tracking, battery optimization must be disabled for the Timeero Mobile App

- Tap on Apps or Applications
- Tap on the three dots (top right)
- Tap on Special Access
- Tap on Optimize Battery usage
- Tap on Not optimized and then choose All apps
- Search for Timeero
- Choose Don't optimize
- Tap Done

- Tap on Battery Usage
- Tap on the three dots (top right)
- Tap on Optimize Battery usage
- Tap on Not optimized and then choose All apps
- Search for Timeero

- Go to Settings
- Tap Battery & power saving
- Tap on Battery usage
- Tap Ignore optimizations
- Turn on to ignore battery optimization for Timeero
One Plus
- Go to Settings > Battery > Battery optimization
- Switch to the All apps list
- Tap on Timeero & choose Don’t optimize
- Go back to your Settings
- Select Apps & notifications
- Tap on see all apps
- Tap on Timeero
- Then Permissions
- For Location Access, turn on the toggle
Motorola
- Go to Settings > Battery
- Tap on the menu at the top right
- Tap on Battery optimization
- Tap on Not optimized
- Choose All Apps
- Find Timeero and choose Don’t optimize
- Go back to your phone settings
- Choose battery
- Turn Off Battery Saver Mode
For most Motorola devices, battery saver mode will automatically turn on when the battery hits a certain level and ignores the battery optimization setting, so turning off battery saver is important to ensure precise location/mileage tracking.
Sony
- Go Settings > Battery
- Tap on the 3 dots (top right) and choose Battery optimization
- Tap on Apps > Timeero
- Turn off battery optimization for Timeero
