      How to Disable Battery Optimization

      For precise location and/or mileage tracking, battery optimization must be disabled for the Timeero Mobile App

      Samsung

      1. Tap on Apps or Applications 
      2. Tap on the three dots (top right)
      3. Tap on Special Access
      4. Tap on Optimize Battery usage
      5. Tap on Not optimized and then choose All apps
      6. Search for Timeero
      7. Choose Don't optimize
      8. Tap Done

      OR

      1. Tap on Device maintenance
      2. Tap on Battery
      3. Tap on Battery Usage
      4. Tap on the three dots (top right)
      5. Tap on Optimize Battery usage
      6. Tap on Not optimized and then choose All apps
      7. Search for Timeero
      8. Choose Don't optimize
      9. Tap Done
      OR
      1.  Settings
      2. Battery and Device Care
      3.  Tap on Optimize now to check apps
      4. Find Timeero
      5. Choose Do not optimize

      Google Pixel

      1. Go to Settings > Apps & notifications
      2. Tap on Advanced
      3. Tap on Special app access
      4. Tap on Battery optimization
      5. Tap on Not optimized and then choose All apps
      6. Search for Timeero
      7. Choose Don't optimize

      LG

      1. Go to Settings
      2. Tap Battery & power saving
      3. Tap on Battery usage
      4. Tap Ignore optimizations
      5. Turn on to ignore battery optimization for Timeero

      One Plus

      1. Go to Settings > Battery > Battery optimization
      2. Switch to the All apps list
      3. Tap on Timeero & choose Don’t optimize
      4. Go back to your Settings
      5. Select Apps & notifications
      6. Tap on see all apps
      7. Tap on Timeero
      8. Then Permissions
      9. For Location Access, turn on the toggle

      Motorola

      1. Go to Settings > Battery
      2. Tap on the menu at the top right
      3. Tap on Battery optimization
      4. Tap on Not optimized
      5. Choose All Apps
      6. Find Timeero and choose Don’t optimize
      7. Go back to your phone settings
      8. Choose battery
      9. Turn Off Battery Saver Mode

      For most Motorola devices, battery saver mode will automatically turn on when the battery hits a certain level and ignores the battery optimization setting, so turning off battery saver is important to ensure precise location/mileage tracking.

      Sony

      1.  Go Settings > Battery
      2. Tap on the 3 dots (top right) and choose Battery optimization
      3. Tap on Apps > Timeero
      4. Turn off battery optimization for Timeero
