[In-App Messaging](https://help.timeero.com/in-app-messaging?hsLang=en) # How to Delete a Message ### Who Can Delete a Message? - Anyone can delete a **single message**. - Anyone with permission to Manage Groups can delete **group conversations**. \*Only group conversations can be deleted. One on one conversations cannot be deleted.  ### How Can I Delete a Conversation On the Web Portal? 1. Go to the **Messaging Tab.** 2. Hover over the name of the chat you want to delete. 3. Click on the **three dots**. 4. Select **Delete Chat.** 5. You will see a warning message asking you to confirm. If you wish to proceed, hit **Delete**. \*Once you delete a conversation, it cannot be retrieved. This is a permanent action.  ### How Can I Delete a Conversation On the Mobile App? 1. Select the conversation you want to delete. 2. Select the initials in the top right corner of the screen. 3. Select **Delete Conversation**.   ### How Do I Delete a Single Message on the Web Portal? 1. Hover over the message that you want to delete. 2. Click on the **three dots**. 3. Select **Delete**. \*Anyone with access to the conversation will be able to see that you deleted a message, but the message itself will no longer be visible.  ### How Do I Delete a Single Message on the Mobile App? 1. Press and hold on the message you want to delete. 2. Select **Delete Message** from the menu that appears. 3.
