Mapping your Employees

Once your integration is set up you will need to map your employees between the two platforms. Go to Integrations > ADP Workforce Now > Configuration and click Configure Mappings.

Match your employees on the left in the Timeero Employees column to the ADP Workers in the drop-down menu on the right. Once matched, click Map Employee to save.

Mapping Earning Codes

In order to properly map regular time, overtime, double overtime, and mileage in ADP, your earning codes must be set up correctly. You can find these settings in Configure Mappings on the Codes tab at the top. Select which company code you are configuring from the drop down, and then fill out the earning codes appropriately.

Mapping Jobs Cost Codes

In order to map your ADP Cost Codes to your Timeero Jobs, first Enable Cost Codes on your ADP Integrations page in Timeero.

That will cause the Cost Codes tab to appear in the Configure Mappings page. There, you can link your ADP cost codes to your jobs stored in Timeero.

Exporting Time & Mileage

When exporting reports from Timeero, only the hours worked and mileage costs will be sent to ADP WFN.

  1. In your Timeero web portal go to Reports and select either,
    1. Report by Date Range to include all users, or
    2. Report by User or Group to only include specific users.
  2. Enter your desired date range and click Generate Report.
  3. Once the report is generated click the Export button on the right and select Export to ADP Workforce Now.

Exported data can be found in ADP WFN in Process > Payroll Dashboard.

Select Manage payroll for the correct group and you will see the worksheet with the time and mileage. Find the batch with the newly exported data and make sure to review it for accuracy before approving.
