  1. When adding a Kiosk, ensure that Require user's photo is turned on.
  2. Ensure that each user has a profile photo by updating them in the Users Tab.

*If the user does not have a profile picture, the first photo the Kiosk app takes of them will become their profile picture.

Once a user clocks in, the home page will re-appear, and the next user will need to tap Proceed to continue.

How Do I Get Notified if a Mismatch is Suspected?

  • If the photo taken at the time of clock in does not look like the User, the admin will receive an email alert. The email will show both the profile picture and the picture taken at clock in for comparison.

  • If you determine the photo matches, you can leave the timesheet as is. If you determine it is not the same user, you can address that with your team and decide the proper course of action.

FAQs

What happens if someone tries to clock out for someone else? Does facial recognition work when stopping time as well as starting time?

Yes, facial recognition works for both. If a mismatch is detected, the system will send an email alert.

Can I see the photos that were taken even if there was not a mismatch?

No, photos are only sent if there is a mismatch detected and cannot be viewed otherwise.
