Setting up your Timeero account with QuickBooks Online only takes a few minutes.

Once you are integrated with QuickBooks, you can sync your employees time and jobs right into QuickBooks.

Here's how to get started with the QuickBooks Online Integration:

Click on Integrations on the left-hand menu:
Follow the on-screen wizard provided by QuickBooks.





Once you are connected to QuickBooks, you will need to map your Timeero users to QuickBooks users.
Next map your jobs in Timeero, to Customers in QuickBooks.

Mapping Your QuickBooks Employees
Your employees in QuickBooks need to be connected to their corresponding users in Timeero. This means if you want to track time for an employee, John Adams in QuickBooks, you will want to make sure you create a John Adams inside of Timeero.

To connect your QuickBooks employees to users in Timeero:
Go to Integrations > QuickBooks Mapping.
Click on Sync changes from QuickBooks to pull all your QuickBooks employees into Timeero.
You should see all your QuickBooks employees under the column QuickBooks Employees.
Map your correct users by selecting from the Timeero users dropdown and then click Map Employee, for each user you want to map.

Mapping QuickBooks Customers
A customer or project in QuickBooks is equivalent to a Job in Timeero. You may want certain QuickBooks customers or projects to be available to your employees. To do that, you can map the QuickBooks customers/projects to Jobs in Timeero.
You can also copy your customers in QuickBooks into Timeero by:
Integrations > QuickBooks Mapping > Map Customers.
Selecting the checkbox next to the QuickBooks customers/projects and then click on Import Jobs.
The imported QuickBooks customers/projects will be created as Jobs inside of Timeero.
For each customer you want to map, select the appropriate job from the Timeero job dropdown. Then click on Map Customer to map the Timeero job to the QuickBooks customer or project.

Mapping QuickBooks Service Items
A product item or service item in QuickBooks will map to Tasks inside of Timeero. You may first want to ensure that you have Tasks turned on for Timeero by adjusting that on the company settings page.
Integrations > QuickBooks Mapping > Map Service Items.
Similar to Map Customers, select the checkbox next to each Service Item you want to import, that is not already showing up in the Timeero tasks drop down list.
For each task you want to map, select the appropriate task from the Timeero task dropdown. Then click on Map Service Item to map the Timeero task to the QuickBooks.
