Configuring Messaging Settings

How Do I Configure the Messaging Settings?

  1. Go to Company Settings.
  2. Scroll down and toggle on Enable Messaging.
  3. Hit Save at the bottom of the page. 
  4. Select Messaging Settings on the left hand side of your screen.
  5. Select which users (admins, managers, employees) can access messaging and the different features.
  6. Hit Save at the bottom of the page.

What Does Each Setting Do?

  • Who can access messaging determines which users will have permission to send and receive messages. 
  • Who can start messaging with team members determines which users can start a new direct message to another team member. 
  • Who can create groups determines which users can start a new group message. 
  • Who can manage groups determines which users can add and remove users from existing group messages. 

*You cannot use Message Blast and Messaging at the same time. If both are turned on, Message Blast will be hidden.
