Configuring Messaging Settings
How Do I Configure the Messaging Settings?
- Go to Company Settings.
- Scroll down and toggle on Enable Messaging.
- Hit Save at the bottom of the page.
- Select Messaging Settings on the left hand side of your screen.
- Select which users (admins, managers, employees) can access messaging and the different features.
- Hit Save at the bottom of the page.
What Does Each Setting Do?
- Who can access messaging determines which users will have permission to send and receive messages.
- Who can start messaging with team members determines which users can start a new direct message to another team member.
- Who can create groups determines which users can start a new group message.
- Who can manage groups determines which users can add and remove users from existing group messages.
*You cannot use Message Blast and Messaging at the same time. If both are turned on, Message Blast will be hidden.
