Commuter Mileage

Some businesses reimburse employees for miles only after they've hit a specific amount of miles traveled each day. This feature will take care of the math, so you don't have to.

Premium Plan
Turn on Commuter Mileage for your company so that miles will only be tracked after each user travels more than a specific distance daily.
Here's how it works.

Miles are deducted from timesheets overnight.

Example 1:  One timesheet in one day.

If you want miles to track after users have traveled 30 miles, and the user has one timesheet and has traveled 40 miles, the next day you will see 10 miles on that timesheet.

Example 2:  If there are multiple timesheets in one day.
If you want miles to track after users have traveled 30 miles, and the user has multiple timesheets, miles are deducted from the timesheets in chronological order.
Actual miles driven:

Timesheet 1:   5 miles
Timesheet 2:   20 miles
Timesheet 3:   30 miles

Results from Commuter Mileage:

Timesheet 1:   0 miles
Timesheet 2:   0 miles
Timesheet 3:   25 miles

This customization of mileage deduction affects all users.

Actual miles driven will not be shown on timesheets.
