How do I turn on background location permissions on Android?

1. Open Settings on your Android device.
2. Scroll down and tap Apps & Notifications (or just Apps on some devices).
3. Find and select the Timeero app to enable background location access.
4. Tap Permissions.
5. Look for Location and tap it.
6. Select Allow all the time to give the app permission to access your location in the background.

Do I have to have it set to allow always for it to track accurately?

Yes, without this permission, the app can only track while the app is open on your phone. Setting it to allow always will allow it to run in the background. 

Can Timeero track me all the time?

No, Timeero can only capture your location while you are clocked in to work.
